socialmediaprompts

You’ve probably said these words at least once, “I wish I could just have someone tell me what to post on social media.” Right? Most of us (especially us photographers) are busy. We’re stay at home moms. We’ve got kids. We’ve got day jobs. We’ve got spouses. We’ve got lives. You can read all the articles you want on the internet about who, what, where, when and how to post on social media. You can watch webinars, takes classes, go to conferences and learn too. That still doesn’t mean you have the time to sit down, actually plan it all out, and then make it happen consistently.

Let’s be honest. It’s freakin’ hard to be a business owner. Social media often falls to the wayside. We’ve got stuff to do. We’re barely staying above water with photo editing. Don’t even mention blogging!

I get it. I totally do. That’s why when I was learning about a business owner’s meal planning email subscription service it got me thinking. I’ve spent many years developing organizational products for photographers, taught classes and tried to pass on my knowledge. Not everyone is like me. I thought, what if you could have a meal planning email subscription service, except it was for social media and blogging? HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?

Ever wanted someone to just tell you what to post every week on social media? Need someone to tell you how to keep up on the engagement and give you little tasks to do every day for social media upkeep? What about blog posts? The number one complaint I hear is, “I don’t know what to write out.” What if you had an email that told you what to write about each week? Then gave you the outline to make it happen. You just fill in the blanks and make it your own. Now that email subscription service I would sign up for. Sometimes I just need someone to tell me what to do so I don’t have to use valuable brain power thinking about it. I hope to offer that to you guys. That way you can follow the directions, develop a more consistent social media and blogging presence, and not have to worry about it as much. You’ll start to develop habits and won’t have to sit down and plan out ideas of what to post and when.

The goal with a tool like an email subscription service telling you what to post is basically to develop consistency. We take consistency for granted as photographers. We’re so focused on the photographs and the editing we let all the marketing go downhill. The key to any social media or blog presence is consistency. You don’t want the last Instagram post you made to be from 5 days ago. Or the last blog post you wrote to be from 6 months ago. The more current and consistent your presence is the more you develop trust with your clients.

TRUST IS EVERYTHING. Trust for a photographer means you get to enjoy the clients you photograph and get more creative. Instead of meeting the expectations, it’s easier to exceed them. We all started businesses because we loved photography. However, another reason we all did this was to have some freedom back in our lives and to work with people we really loved. Those day jobs and bosses suck. We want to be our own bosses, but sometimes that comes with clients we don’t love. What if you could work with clients you loved all the time? What if a consistent social media presence was the key that you are missing in your business?

That’s why I released social media and blog prompt subscription email services. Each week on Friday I tell you what to post and when. I give you the blog posts and outlines. Each week is unique and changes a bit. These are prompts. You don’t have to act on all of them if they don’t fit you, but they will help you become a much more consistent business owner and start utilizing social media to your advantage instead of letting it sit there until you remember to post on it. Throughout the emails you’ll learn about all kinds of tips and resources that can help you further your social media and blogging to the next level too.

The best part is that you can get a weekly email with prompts telling you what to do for $99 a year. No joke. So come join me right now and lets get this party started and change your social media now!
